Kristen Stewart does pretty in Peter Pilotto

You’d think that Kristen Stewart would be embracing her dark, gothic, vamp side while she’s promoting the last installment of the popular Twilight franchise.
However, the actress surprised us all when she turned up to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in a bright and beautiful mini dress from the Peter Pilotto Resort 2013 collection.
Kristen showed off some seriously lust-worthy pins in the process too, which might leave some people a little green with envy. We like how she kept the rest of her look simple by wearing some un-distracting black pumps and opting to keep accessories and make-up to a minimum.
And while some ladies might get some flack for not running a brush through their hair,. Kristen’s messy ponytail works with the loud nature of the dress and her character in general, so kudos!
Not long to wait for the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere… who do you think she will wear?

Elle Fanning is young and fun in Oscar de la Renta

Elle Fanning and her older sister Dakota Fanning (who is currently prettying up the December issue of InStyle UK) always seem to have a lot of fun with their red carpet outfits. And nine times out of ten, they seem to get it right with their age-appropriate but still very on-trend sartorial pieces.
This time was no different, as Elle hit up the Ginger And Rosa screening red carpet in a gorgeous floor-length strapless stripe dress from Oscar de la Renta.  Stripes are hot stuff at the moment, as is the gorgeous shade of green, so the young actress is really killing it on every level here.
We love how Elle kept the rest of her look simple, by opting for contemporary white jewellery with a matching white head band, and keeping her hair fuss-free, and  make-up fresh-faced and minimal.
Her piercing eyes complement the dress beautifully, and we can’t fault a single aspect of this look. Ten out of ten!

Lana Del Rey For Versace?

VOGUE cover girl Lana Del Rey is rumoured to be the new face of Versace, according to online speculation. A spokesperson for the singer and for the Italian fashion house could not be reached.

Reports emerged after one of the star's fans Tweeted under @LanaDelReyWorld: "NEWS: After being the face of H&M and Jaguar, @LanaDelRey is now officially the face of the clothes label, #Versace. Photos will follow!"

The musician currently fronts H&M's autumn/winter 2012-2013 campaign and has been a brand ambassador for Mulberry, performing at numerous parties. In February, the label launched a bag named after the US star.

Coach Wins Landmark Internet Counterfeit Battle

COACH has won $257 million (£160 million) in damages in what is one of the largest payment awards in internet counterfeiting history. An Illinois federal court judge also gave the US accessories label the power to seize more than 573 domain names, selling fake Coach products.
"The magnitude of this judgment underscores the severity and illegality of counterfeiting, and sends a clear message that our courts will enforce the law," said Todd Kahn, Coach's executive vice president and general counsel.
However, the monetary part of the ruling is symbolic - Coach will not actually receive the payment, as it is unlikely that they will be able to find the individuals behind the counterfeit websites to obtain their payment.  Nonetheless, the case offers a "warning" to infringing online retailers and show how seriously such cases are being taken in the legal world.
The largest internet counterfeit ruling went to True Religion Apparel Inc, who were given $863.9 million (£536.8 million), in March this year.

Cheryl Cole Not Hosting Chat Show

CHERYL COLE does not have plans to host her own chat show - despite widespread speculation this morning. According to reports which surfaced online earlier today, the Vogue cover girl had been offered a "lucrative contract" with Sky1 - a rumour which has been flatly denied by the broadcaster.
"Cheryl is a great talent and we are fans of her here at Sky," a spokesperson told us. "But we do not have anything planned at the moment."
While a future project television project is not out of the question, it seems that the singer is focusing solely on her upcoming Girls Aloud reunion tour for the time being. The 29-year-old is no stranger to the small screen - having famously featured as a judge on the X Factor - and it's believed that her manager, Will.I.Am is keen for her to return to broadcasting at some point.

Style Panel: 9 ways to dress for your body type, no matter which trend you try

As snarky as What Not to Wear may be, hosts Stacy and Clinton seem to always get one thing right: many women have no idea how to dress for differing body types. Since we all know that no two bodies are exactly the same, 9 of our unique and uniquely beautiful Style Panelists took on the challenge and styled themselves in what shape suits them best. Whether it be with tight fitting clothing, loose pieces or even balancing out both, our stylish go-to girls were able to manage the trick of dressing for their bodies
Determining what shape of body you have is the most crucial step before you start playing around with looks. Although many ladies this week, including new member Melissa Knight, agree that they prefer wearing loose-fitting over tight clothing due to comfort, most say that confidence is the real key to pulling off a look that flatters anybody’s curves (take a cue from our next new member, Barbara Solomon, if you don’t believe us!)
So no matter what your shape or size, hopefully our Style Panel will inspire you to dress for your body, and just werk it.

Top 10 Fashion Trends Spring 2013

It’s official, Spring 2013 fashion month is over. And after receiving a daily dose of street style photos and runway updates, it would be silly for us to ignore the trends that we saw day after day (after day, after day). It’s hard not to fall victim to sensory overload, but thankfully our street style photographer, Stefania Yarhi, made it easy for us to pick and choose which trends we know we’ll be seeing all spring long. With hundreds of photos from Paris, Milan, London, New York, and Toronto at our disposal, we just couldn’t ignore the countless graphic tops (a day without a Balenciaga sci-fi sweater sighting was a total shocker), exposed bellies, suits, and mixed prints—so we didn’t because we’re positive they will be huge come Spring 2013. We’ve selected 10 of the biggest fashion trends from the streets and the runways and put them together in one place, so gets to clickin’. The leaves may just be starting to fall, but it’s never too early to plan for spring, right? (RIGHT!)

Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2013: Sid Neigum makes his latest case for colourless cool

Colour for spring? Pfft. Or at least, that’s what Sid Neigum’s Spring 2013 collection has convinced us. The Toronto-based Albertan showed a collection with long jersey dresses, fashion doo-rags, and majorly smoky eyes which when combined, created the ultimate cool girl look (look out Wang, Sid Neigum’s coming for you).
Neigum welcomed the reverse mullet cut to the runway—long in the front and bootyliciously short in the back—which is a necessary change from the current mullet craze out there on the mainstream market. The standout pieces of the show were the unexpected knits, ranging from a turtleneck dress to a grey oversized sweater piped with leather, the pieces were kind of a fashion reality check that made us realize knits are not only for fall.

Leaving colours off the runway has become of a bit of a trademark for Sid Neigum and this collection was no exception—blacks, whites and a light purple created a neutral palette that just worked. Sid Neigum, you just keep doing you.

Toronto Fashion Week Spring 2013: Jean-Pierre Braganza updates his geometric edge with 28 big-city takes

See the looks from Jean-Pierre Braganza’s show!
Way East at Toronto’s Andrew Richards Design, London-based designer Jean-Pierre Braganza returned home to present his third show as part of the ongoing offsite effort The ShOws. Once again, he played master of geometry, only this time, offsetting his zigzagging prints with loose flowing material that created a big city babe vibe.
The embodiment of Braganza’s sharp/slouch play was a three-piece tuxedo suit in which crisp lines at the top and flowing loose pants at the tips elongated models bodies (as if they needed the help). In Jean-Pierre Braganza’s signature style, he used asymmetry to create unique lines and shapes in every single look that walked down the runway.

Electric red and blue patterns burst throughout the collection—almost like a print of the highs and lows in an electro song. And to cap the looks: models wore an innovative, even Avatar-esque take on the braid and super-cat eyes.
