In Gatsby news, Miuccia Prada has delved into the Prada and Miu Miu archives to rework 40 dresses for the upcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby. She collaborated with the film's costume designer Catherine Martin on flapper-inspired 1920s dresses worn by several actresses throughout the movie. [Vogue UK]

Giles Deacon has spoken about what it was like to dress Victoria Beckham for the London Olympics closing ceremony. "We had three fittings with her but they weren't really in secret because she'd already let everyone know on Twitter! I got at least four more followers after that. I've now got 86." Alice Temperley continues her partnership with Barbour which began with much success last season. Now the collaboration will extend to autumn/winter 2012. Her next collection will comprise of not just wax jackets but also shirts, jodhpurs and chunky knits, with prices ranging from £129 to £699.
